SMS messages

Use the SMS messages view to send a message to an individual recipient or as a broadcast to a larger audience.

You need the following rights:

• View SMS chat queue

• View directory group and its directory entries

• Messaging rights for an SMS chat queue from which SMS messages are sent

Note the following when sending SMS messages:

• For larger bulk sending Dashboard splits the request into batches of 1000 recipients.

• No SMS delivery reports are available from the Dashboard UI.

• Due to the limits of Dashboard, we recommend that you limit the recipients to 10000 for a single sending request.
