Chat prompts

Chat prompts are pre-written messages that can contain dynamic information such as position in queue.

Sinch Contact Pro has prompt types for the following situations:

Prompt type Used when

Agent session lost

Agent loses the internet connection and the connection doesn’t return during resilience time.

Disconnection

Agent or customer using WhatsApp ends the conversation

Idle session warning

Conversation has been inactive and will be disconnected

In queue

Conversation is in queue

Internal transfer

The system transfers the conversation to another queue.

This is not used when an agent transfers a conversation.

Queue full

Queue is full.

Service closed

Queue is closed.

Welcome

Customer enters the queue.

Similarly to email prompts you need to define the content for the messages yourself and create a schedule to start using them.
