To start using Communication Panel, you need a user account and a login address.
Select presence profile
A presence profile is used to inform others about your availability. Additionally, administrators may have defined presence profiles that are linked with a queue group so that by selecting that profile you join the queues of that group. You will also be logged out of any forced queues that are not part of the selected queue group.

Getting Started
To start using Communication Panel, you need a user account and a login address.
- Log In / Log Out
- Define Your Audio Device
- Join and Leave Queues
  Join the queue to receive conversations from it.
- Make a Phone Call
- Handle a Conversation
- Search
  You may need to search different items in various views, such as Queues, Picklist, History, and Directory.
- Change Status
  Inform the system if you are ready to receive conversations.
- Select presence profile
  A presence profile is used to inform others about your availability. Additionally, administrators may have defined presence profiles that are linked with a queue group so that by selecting that profile you join the queues of that group. You will also be logged out of any forced queues that are not part of the selected queue group.

You will also be logged out of any forced queues that are not part of the selected queue group.

Presence profile can also be changed in Dashboard. In this case, you'll see a message in Communication Panel that the profile has been changed by the supervisor.

Depending on your configuration, a timer may also be shown to emphasize the time you have spent in a presence profile of the Absence type.

To set a presence profile, click the pull-down menu of profiles and select the one that suits your situation.

Note:

If you select a profile that has a duration, switching to another profile is still possible. Otherwise the profile remains set for the duration period before switching back to the default profile.
