Send DTMF tones during active calls
While on a call, you can use the dial pad to send DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) tones—these are the sounds used to interact with automated systems like IVRs for choosing a menu option or entering a PIN. Each number you press sends a separate tone to help navigate such menus or inputting of numbers.
- Click the Dial pad button. The view opens.
-
Click the DTMF toggle switch to enable DTMF mode.

The DTMF state is remembered automatically. It will stay active each time you open the dial pad until you toggle it off.
-
Enter the digits using one of the following methods:
- Mouse: Click the numbers on the dial pad.
- Keyboard: Move the focus on the dial pad input field and type the digits using your computer's keyboard. You can use the main keyboard or the numeric keypad for numbers (0-9) and special characters like * and # .
-
To remove
- all digits: click the X icon at the end of the field
- just the last digit: use the Remove button on the dial pad
